It was like a Hollywood movie. The world watched in horror as
the huge Twin Towers crumbled. Thick clouds shrouded the city.
September 11, 2001 will live in infamy in the minds of Americans,
just as the day Pearl Harbor was bombed.
"Terrorism against our nation will
not stand," President Bush said before leaving for the
capital. Then he called for a moment of silence. "May
God bless the victims, their families and America," he
said, his voice breaking with emotion. "May
God bless the victims."
